SIR – While I appreciate snow on the roads can cause delays and heavy traffic, I have just waited for 40 minutes in the interchange along with many other frustrated would-be passengers.

I am not complaining about the lack of buses as they may be caught up in the traffic, but about the lack of communication within the Interchange.

There is a public address system which informs people not to leave their luggage unattended, but no mention of an apology for delay or an explanation. If people were kept informed they would be less antagonistic towards the drivers when buses finally do arrive.

More relevant information please Richard Sheard, High Street, Wibsey No more excuses for murderous Israelis SIR – I have no wish to become embroiled in a pointless tit-for-tat with Rudi Leavor.

This man simply needs to accept that it does not matter a jot as to why the Palestinian men, women and children were where they were.

The fact remains that the Israelis, knowing full well where these innocents were, still went ahead and slaughtered them with countless murderous barrages.

No more spurious excuses, please, Mr Leavor. It’s an argument you cannot win.
