SIR - It occurred to me last Sunday morning that a topical panel show on BBC TV, whilst talking about the concentration and death camps of WW2, always referred to “the Nazis”.
One of the panellists mentioned the fact the several other countries in Eastern Europe actively participated in these camps.
I got the impression that everyone on the show was keen to avoid using the word “German”, as if the Holocaust had nothing to do with the Germans.
