SIR – The Sun newspaper last week for two days didn’t have the usual Page 3 topless model.
Over recent weeks I have been buying The Sun, collecting tokens for their holiday offer. I can honestly say I never even noticed the Page 3 girls.
When I had a baby and started breastfeeding I initially felt very uncomfortable at exposing my boobs in front of family and friends and I know they also felt awkward.
My worry is if we lose topless models on Page 3 are we starting to make showing a nipple even more taboo than it already is and cause women wanting to feed their child naturally even more embarrassment?
I certainly wouldn’t encourage my daughter, or anyone else for that matter to go into topless modelling and I find it highly unlikely I will go topless on my £9.50 holiday to Cayton Bay, but I am happy for Page 3 models to remain topless.
