SIR – I’m sure there are many people like myself who learned at an early age in the early 1940s what it was like if you were taken ill and mums were worried about calling a doctor. There were doctors’ bills to pay later and I know my mum was still paying them after the marvellous NHS came to power.
Now we have a Government who are trying to bring back private health care. It’s unbelievable. We may lose our NHS.
I myself have spent time in hospital more than once and I had the best care and compassion by all nursing staff.
So unless we all stand together and let our voices be heard and back all the wonderful people working in the NHS. They are angels. So let our voices be heard by standing and voting together, otherwise God help us all.
