SIR – The proposed revamp of Forster Square Retail Park (T&A, January 5) is to be welcomed as a further step along the long road of Bradford’s regeneration.

Various improvements were outlined in the report, except the one that, in my view, should have been at the top of any list.

That is the need for canopies running along the full length of all the walkways adjacent to the shops, so that customers do not get wet in inclement weather. I do hope that this very necessary improvement will be included within the scheme.
