Don’t spoil the vista in city centre
SIR - Bradford Council planners have approved proposals for a new office development in City Park in place of the soon to be demolished Tyrls police station (T&A, December 12).
Apparently the new offices will comprise three new blocks of between three and five storeys.
However, bearing in mind that these offices will be directly between the iconic buildings that are City Hall, the Alhambra Theatre, and a hopefully refurbished Odeon, can we trust that our council will ensure that they complement rather than ruin the overall vista?
