Crossing donations?
SIR – While picking up two of my grandchildren from Blakehill School in Idle, I noticed that they had started a petition asking for the reinstatement of the school crossing patrol.
As these cuts were forced on Bradford Council by the coalition Government, I wondered whether, perhaps, the three Liberal Democrat Councillors in Idle & Thackley might like to put their hand in their pockets and donate some of their generous allowances to bring this reinstatement about?
