SIR – Many of your readers will have diabetes and whether they have Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes, they have to manage their diet, medications and exercise all the time in order to stay well. We know that this can be difficult.
We are always happy to supply people with a free information pack about diabetes to help them to understand the condition.
We know from the people who contact our charity that many people are confused about the diet they should follow and some have only received the advice to eat ‘healthily’.
With this in mind, we have published a new book, Diabetes – Food, Meds And More. Your readers can obtain further information by contacting the InDependent Diabetes Trust on (01604) 622837, e-mail jenny@iddtinternational.org, or by writing to IDDT, PO Box 294, Northampton NN1 4XS.
