SIR – David Rhodes says “Dealers don’t wear badges”. If they actually did, then we wouldn’t really need “diligent task forces” would we?
However, young men parked up in expensive luxury vehicles in very public places, quite obviously not working and frequently visited by desperate-looking men and women should invite a little scrutiny, surely?
I witness this behaviour on a daily basis in Keighley and all that seems to have happened over the years is the Ford Cabriolet and alloy wheels have been replaced by 4x4s and tinted windows.
My point was and is that these “despicable beings” seem to be tolerated by our police force, or there is a serious lack of diligence.
