SIR – After the bad publicity which is often in the paper about Bradford Royal Infirmary, I would like to say if it wasn’t for the staff on the intensive care unit, I wouldn’t be here to write this letter.
They worked many hours to save me. The after care I received on Ward One was second-to-none. Nothing was too much trouble on either ward.
I would like to publicly thank each and every one of them – consultant, nursing staff, HCAs and domestic staff.
By the way, the old line about hospital food is not true – there were lovely meals.
Once again, thank you to ICU and Ward One staff for giving me a life which I intend to live to the full.
