SIR – Re Mr Harding’s reply (Letters, April 30) to my letter (April 24).
I wish Mr Harding had done some research before putting pen to paper declaring Chemtrails as something in my imagination. There are many written articles on the web and videos on YouTube on the subject including one from a press conference where scientists declare their intention to release minute particles of aluminium oxide, barium oxide and stronium oxide into the atmosphere as a measure to help fight the (mythical) global warming.
Their theory is that the reflective nature of these particles will deflect the heat from the sun back into space, but other scientists say spraying 20 million tons of aluminum into the atmosphere does cool the planet during the day but it traps heat at night so Chemtrails are ineffective in countering Global Warming.
At no point in my letter did I say the military where responsible for this – private company-owned aircraft are paid to carry out this task.
There are many points of reference on the internet, and although you cannot believe everything you read, nobody other than Mr Harding of Bingley is denying it is happening.
