SIR – Now we have 17 experts criticising the Government about the flood situation, saying that the flooding could have been prevented.
Hindsight is a wonderful thing. Why didn’t they tell the Government what to do before the floods?
If they are experts, why are they telling us that new-build projects will have built-in flood defences?
They should know that any new properties built will only collect more water to add to the flood situation, and any residents will use more water and add to the problem.
If they are experts, they should be telling the Government to reduce the population and demolish properties, which is a sure-fire way to reduce the water levels.
Still, who am I to criticise self-proclaimed experts with hindsight?
