SIR – Families are being let down over the Council’s social care (T&A, February 10). According to the report, Bradford Council’s Adult Services Access Point telephone helpline has a target to answer at least 75 per cent of calls.
That’s 75 per cent! This is an unbelievable and utterly unacceptable target which reflects badly on how our Council is being run.
That the target is not set somewhere between 90 per cent and 100 per cent tells us all we need to know about the quality of those in charge.
