SIR – When are the Council going to do something to deter pavement cyclists? Not young children, but supposedly ‘mature’ adults?

Surely it’s illegal, but more to the point dangerous to pedestrians, especially anyone with disabilities such as sight impairment.

The perpetrators obviously have no concern for others. What happened to good old fashioned courtesy and respect?

Maybe it’s a symptom of being a member of the European Union with all its peculiarities, or just plain selfishness.

Who can say? And does anybody care any more?
