SIR – May I through your letters page thank the people of Keighley and district for their generosity when Keighley Lions Club took Father Christmas on his sleigh around the area.

May I also thank Colin Appleyard and his driver for their service, also the Venture Scouts for all their help.

May I also thank Stephen H Smith’s garden centre in Harden for allowing us to have Father Christmas in their grotto.

Thanks to all these people we will be able to support many causes throughout the year.
