SIR – I have seen her most days and to be honest there is just something about her.
She always wears the same red clothes as she strides about, with her hair bobbing in the breeze. It doesn’t seem to matter what the weather is like, she always appears to be her usual cheerful self. You may think what is her name and I am sorry I cannot tell you, but she does spend a great deal of her time in Clayton.
As you might have guessed I am referring to the lady who delivers the post on a daily basis. I am reminded of the song Make Someone Happy from the film Sleepless In Seattle, and this lady does exactly that and without a doubt is a credit to the postal service.
So I say thank you for all you do and wish you a Happy New Year.
Dennis Delaney, The Avenue, Clayton
