SIR – On behalf of the Salvation Army in Keighley, I would like to thank all the wonderful individuals, businesses, churches, schools, service organisations and volunteers who have helped and supported us in 2013.
You have been tremendous and contributed so much to the work we do here in the centre. We have had some very generous donations of food and money, not just leading up to the Christmas period but throughout the past year.
Each week we have a large number of volunteers who come along to help us with our work in the centre, and I would like to say how much we have appreciated all the help they have given us.
Because of all our wonderful volunteers and all the generous donations we have received, we have been able to support hundreds of people and children living in poverty in the Keighley area.
Chris Bown, The Salvation Army, Keighley
