SIR – Can someone tell me who designs the stupid bus posts – shelters they are not?

Market Street in particular is like standing in a wind tunnel, seats get wet so you cannot sit down, unless you want a wet bottom.

I feel the shelters should be enclosed except for an entry for getting on or off the bus, which could be in the centre of the stand.

Planners do not test things out properly before taking action to make so-called ‘improvements’.
