SIR – Does anyone know of anyone having new floor covering fitted in the Bingley/ Gilstead area recently?

I ask because a load of orange carpeting was dumped in my top garden along with an old fluorescent light fitting and parts of kitchen furniture. The garden fence was damaged in the process.

I would have had to make about three trips to the tip in my car to dispose of someone else’s rubbish. My very good neighbour took it down in his pick-up truck.

Also I found a charity bag with bags of various leaflets, which I presume should have been delivered around the Gilstead/Bingley area.

People have also used my garden as a dumping ground for garden rubbish. Don’t they know the tip is just down the road?
