SIR – The Vatican has said that it wants ordinary people to participate in the Family Synod (planned for October 2014) by asking us to comment on the churches’ teaching on the family, marriage, sex and children, etc. They would like our response by December 7. I have completed their online survey, but I found it to be asking questions which required significant knowledge of Catholic teaching.
To allow a wider range of people to share their views, I have created a simplified survey which asks respondents to agree or disagree with statements (and provides space for further comments).
This alternative survey is available at bradqual.co.uk. People of all faiths and none are welcome to respond.
