SIR – Today I leave Marie Curie Cancer Care to take on a new challenge in the New Year. I have worked for Marie Curie Cancer Care in a variety of roles for almost 21 years, mostly in Bradford.
It has been an absolute pleasure to have been involved in working in the District with such incredible people and I wanted the opportunity to say thank you.
I have met so many extraordinary people, from the city, and surrounding district who have been willing to support the work of the hospice and, not forgetting the appeal we ran to build this very special place.
There are too many individuals, organisations and companies to name. They have not only supported the hospice, but have also shown me great support to me personally. I am so grateful that so many of these people have become personal friends.
Thank you again for enabling me to be successful in the best job I have ever had.
Brian Curran, Marie Curie Hospice, Maudsley Street, Bradford
