SIR – Is it not about time somebody made the brave call and called time on the Westfield farce.
It would be a massive white elephant if it was built now. The time has passed it by and I don’t think it would be a success now – it’s been too long a wait.
Better may be to use the space as a farmers market or general market a couple of days a week, and create something different.
Shopping centre people now got to Leeds, Sheffield and Manchester.
