SIR – The problem with Odsal roundabout is the signage – or lack of it – on the approach.
The signs on the carriageway are too close to the junction. At the exit to Manchester Road, the carriageway continues on to Rooley Avenue so cars continue around without signaling because they think they are in the right lane.
Transport development manager Richard Gelder and Councillor Val Slater need to stand and watch at the roundabout for some time to understand the problems. As a bus driver, you have to avoid these problems at every entrance to the roundabout.
