Sir – Russ Piper, chief executive of Sovereign Health Care, said he could sleep easy at night, knowing his organisation has done as much as it can to help deserving causes (T&A, October 25).
As an example of this, we have been privileged to be associated with Sovereign for many years – without their support we would have been struggling, our work less effective and the homeless in Bradford would have had less to eat.
Sovereign Health Care Charitable Trust is currently running a ‘Good All Round’ awards scheme and the charities involved have been encouraged to get as many ‘votes’ as possible. This ingenious idea has certainly prompted us to work harder in ‘spreading the word’ about our work, which we trust will have an ongoing effect for many years.
Voting closes tomorrow (October 31), and if readers want to show their support they can do so by visiting sovereignhealthcare.co.uk/ charitable-trust/good-all-round/the-14- charities/
