SIR – The dictionary definition of “visionary” as being incapable of being realised or effected, is particularly apt in the circumstance of the Media Museum.
During the near-enough four months since we were told that the Media Museum was safe from closure, the director appears to have been floundering in a morass of indecision and still requires a further two months to present the predicted panacea of a “visionary” plan.
This plan will be relative to input from community groups and the development of partnerships with Bradford College, the University of Bradford and Bradford Council.
This indicates that the current management is seeking to offload responsibility when it is its remit to detail what it seeks to achieve, how it is going to do it, and tell the other interested parties how they can assist in its fulfilment.
Otherwise they will continue to go round in ever-decreasing circles.
