SIR – In the light of article in the T&A (October 17), in relation to three extra cameras to catch offending motorists in bus-only lanes, could the councillors in Bradford City Hall involved with public transport encourage a better service with regard to Valley Road, Shipley?
The very large New Varta housing estate now has the new pedestrian crossing a few feet away from a bus stop, for travelling to Bradford.
All we need now in the 21st century is a better service than the only one direct via Shipley to Bradford 737, off-peak at only one an hour. It is a disgrace to Bradford.
G Steff, Wharncliffe Road, Shipley
