SIR – What fool is trying to set a time limit on carers who administer help to us old and infirm folks?

What I suggest they do is to accompany these ladies to see how hard they work.

Besides the cleaning of old and sometimes infirm clients, they have to find a parking place for their car (sometimes having to walk) in all conditions, often having to cope with irresponsible neighbours and very unreasonable clients, and when that is done they have to cope with the paperwork in the client’s home along with having a cheery chat.

Sometimes they are the only people some folks ever see.
