SIR – And so there we have it. There is no need for a new station at Low Moor. Maybe not enough passengers will use it. How do they know this? Have they done a survey?
There are park and ride stations across West Yorkshire. The passengers on the Aire/Wharfedale lines moan about over-crowded trains. At least they’ve got the stations, we haven’t.
How on earth can the ‘powers that be’ judge that Low Moor won’t be viable? There are Spen Valley folk and others from Wyke and beyond who want to get to Bradford and Halifax, to park and ride instead of joining traffic jams.
