SIR – In answer to Carol Mitchell’s letter, A Pitiful Return Visit (T&A, May 29).
After 28 years away from Bradford it’s a wonder she found her way around at all. As with any major city there are bound to be changes in that time. It’s called progress.
There are still thousands of listed buildings in Bradford, many in the city centre. The cathedral, although in the wrong place, City Hall, St George’s Hall, Alhambra, to name but a few.
Did she visit the Media Museum? Or Forster Square Retail Park with its array of shops?
Finally, for someone to criticise our popular and award-winning water feature in City Park is rich from someone whose own city-centre water feature is more like a burst water main.
