SIR – It was with great interest I read the article and pictures about the refurbished back-to-back houses at the Industrial Museum. It is with great anticipation I look forward to seeing them.

This brings to mind the dilemma of the sadly neglected Cock & Bottle pub.

Surely it would be a good idea if the Council compulsory purchased the building and, as they did with Gaythorn Row, dismantle it and rebuild it at the Industrial Museum complete with all its fixtures and fittings.

This would compliment the back-to-backs admirably.
