SIR – When is something going to be done about the ‘deadly’ junction at Green Lane/Otley Road?
In two years, I have personally witnessed six accidents. You take your life in your hands pulling out there, crossing two lanes of traffic going at 40mph.
Why can numerous traffic lights be built throughout Shipley where accidents are minimal, yet a blackspot is ignored where constant, similar accidents are happening?
Drivers are choosing to go down Baildon Road where there is a safe thoroughfare down Otley Road, but this just causes backlogs and traffic jams and frustration for residents.
Please can someone with common sense accept that something needs to be done before someone gets killed.
Shauna Bramham, Reins Avenue, Baildon
