SIR – May I ask where councillors Naylor and Hawkesworth live? Do they have factories coming out of their ears?
I’ll bet they don’t, but we in south Bradford do. Have they both tried to get on to the Chain Bar roundabout during rush hour in order to get on to the ‘giant car park’ which is supposed to be the M62?
A new town, a town without a rail network (Spen Valley), an area without a station on the existing main line (T&A, April 30). Where will all these new residents work? How will it affect the M62, which is already a nightmare? And where exactly is this town to be built in south Bradford?
Why are they sticking their noses into our area, what’s wrong with making such places as Ilkley, Bingley or even Silsden into cities?
There is quite a lot of space in the Dales, why don’t they build a town up there or even on Ilkley Moor?
We have our own councillors in south Bradford, but they don’t stick their noses into affairs in Ilkley and Craven.
