SIR – I wonder how many people agree with me about the system for swimming lessons?
If a child is under three years old, no matter what ability they are, they do not qualify for a swimming badge, even though you still pay the same amount of money like everyone else.
If they do not qualify until they are three, then they should not allow them to enroll in the lessons.
It is heartbreaking standing there watching other children getting badges and knowing your child can do more than some of those that received badges but because she is under three does not qualify.
It should not matter whether a child is two or 22 – if you are paying like everyone else, you want to be treated like everyone else and stop discriminating under-threes.
