SIR – Having read Margaret Price’s letter in a recent edition of the T&A, I witnessed the same thing in Northowram a couple of weeks ago.
I came home and also looked in my Collins bird book and came to the conclusion that the birds were indeed waxwings and the next day, walking passed the same garden on Northowram Green, I noticed that the berries had all gone!
