SIR – Regards Margaret Price’s letter (T&A, April 20) asking if anyone had seen the flock of Waxwings in the area.
I did see them for three days on the telephone wires opposite where I live. They kept dropping down into gardens, obviously for food (berries) I presume.
I recognise them from a Readers Digest book – interesting to see a different species!
