SIR – Picking the winner of the Grand National out of 40 runners takes some doing, but when High Eldwick trainer Sue Smith told the T&A (August 6) that her two entries, Auroras Encore and Mr Moonshine, were both fit and ready for the off, I wish I’d taken it as a pointer, for I too would now be jumping – with joy.
