SIR – The Bradford Macular Disease Society support group is changing its name and its look.
In future we’ll be known just as the Macular Society Bradford Support Group and we will have a new, fresh and modern look.
We are part of a nationwide charity. Local groups like ours offer friendly support to anyone affected by macular conditions. We are the experts in living with macular disease! The Macular Society also funds vital research into a cure, so that one day we can overcome macular disease.
Age-related macular degeneration is the most common cause of sight loss in the UK. More people are being affected as our society ages.
The Bradford Group meets every third Thursday each month, from 2pm to 3.30pm at the Morley Street Resource Centre, 124 Morley Street, Bradford, BD7 1BB.Call (01274) 435001.
