SIR - I agree Woodhall Avenue is far too narrow for a bus route (T&A, November 1). It must be horrendous for the residents.
It is awful just having to drive up there because of the miserable nature of the bus drivers.
If you are unlucky enough to be using the road at the same time as a bus (and yes, I appreciate it is more difficult to manoeuvre a bus than a car) even if you have right of way, the bus driver will make it difficult for you.
Also I would like to know why buses of all shapes and sizes are constantly driving on New Lane and Kershaw Street in Laisterdyke.
At the Sticker Lane end of New Lane there is a notice saying "not suitable for HGVs". That surely must include buses.
Again these roads, like Woodhall Avenue, are a disaster waiting to happen.
