SIR – I have just read your report on Bradford Council’s wide-ranging action plan for Bradford city centre (T&A, January 9), which proposes the loss of car parks located at Burnett Street, East Parade, Simes Street, Stone Street, Tetley Street, Thornton Road, the Provident Financial headquarters, Wigan Street, Randall Well Street, Longside Lane and Shearbridge Road, Great Horton Road, Wilson Street, off Exchange Court, Clifford Street, Portland Street and Bedford Street.
One question. Should this plan ever come to fruition, where do Bradford Council’s crackpot planners imagine that future visitors to the city will park their cars?
