SIR – May I, on behalf of the members of Keighley Lions Club, thank all those who have helped Keighley Lions over the Christmas period.

Firstly, I must thank the people of Keighley and district for their generosity when we made our collections with Santa’s sleigh. Secondly, Colin Appleyard and his drivers for supplying the car. Thirdly, the Explorers of Keighley and district, we could not have managed without them. Lastly, S H Smith’s Garden Centre, Harden, for allowing us to have Father Christmas there.
