SIR – In April, the Government is going to introduce the ridiculous ‘bedroom tax’, which is going to affect millions of people in the UK.
The elderly, children and the destitute are going to be hit the hardest if this tax goes through. Many people are going to end up losing their homes and forced to live on a reduced income, which is hard to live on as it is.
I plead with people to sign any petition available against the bedroom tax; it is unfair and unjust for the poorest and the most vulnerable people of the country.
Why are the disadvantaged being taken advantage of, and why aren’t the wealthiest of people being affected by this change?
The Government should tax those who can afford change, rather than draining the life out of the poor and the helpless, who now have no control over their livelihoods and where they can live.
Please help to make a difference for the good of the people of the UK.
