SIR – I was a little confused by the letter from Councillor Glen Miller (Letters, January 3).
As a member of Bradford Council, he should know the Council had made arrangements for the collection of waste over the Christmas period. Extra collections were taking place on December 20 and 22 and on January 5.
The residents of Bradford, including Coun Miller, had stickers put on their bins clearly stating what was happening. It is such a shame that an elected member of the Council got his facts so wrong for cheap political gain.
I hope that his zeal in trying to gain cheap political points will be reflected with a zeal to actually pay attention to details.
As he showed he couldn’t be bothered to look at the details, my question is, how can he be trusted to do the job he was elected for?
