SIR – Can I call on Bradford Council to please tell me, and other concerned Bradford residents, as to what is being done to protect the old stone walling on the old Woolcombers site in Thornton Road, near Four Lane Ends?
Slabs of the wall are being taken away all the time by light-fingered thieves and thus, its looking very unkempt and dangerous too, I’m sure.
The old stone wall has been there donkey’s years and its heartbreaking to see it in such a condition. It seems bit by bit Bradford’s history is being left to rack and ruin by our couldn’t-care-less Council.
