SIR - David Rhodes (T&A, November 4), obviously not a Conservative fan, refers to double standards because, although Philip Davies's expenses were not significantly different from Ann Cryer's, his office costs were.
How can he write in such a way, without detailing the reasons and, more importantly, without comparing like with like, that is the average office expenses of members from each party at Westminster.
Such a comparison might justify his remarks but choosing one between just two MP's certainly does not.
