SIR - Ann Cryer (Labour, Keighley) claimed only £404 more in expenses than Philip Davies (Conservative, Shipley) which seems to vindicate the many who say there is little difference between the two parties.
However, Mr Davies' total office running costs exceeded Mrs Cryer's by a whopping £10,169 (T&A, October 28).
Yet every day some member of the Tory hierarchy condemns Labour for spending too much on bureaucracy. Talk about double standards.
