SIR - The plight of the Briton in jail in Pakistan for a murder he did not commit should be on the conscience of all right-thinking British Muslims and I suggest they should be supporting the man's family in obtaining his release.
The man has twice been acquitted according to the law of the land, so why should a particular brand of Islam take preference over that decision? Is there no compassion to be exercised?
Just imaging our justice system acquitting this man and the Christian Church telling our judges that he must hang.
