It will be interesting to see the team he picks this evening and whether Alex Pattison might get a start after coming off the bench at Morecambe.

Paul Huntington was City's stand-out player on a miserable day and looks set for another opportunity.

His short-term deal runs until the end of next month - plenty of time for the experienced centre half to show he is worth an extended stay.

Barrow are in an even more wretched run than their hosts right now.

The former league leaders are without a win in their last seven league games.
