It can be hard to make your political message heard when all around you is noise – but one group of pro-EU protesters have taken their message to their heads, as well as their hearts.
Press Association photographer Jonathan Brady found a range of eye-catching headgear among the Remain protesters at College Green outside the Houses of Parliament in Westminster.
Badges can help to get a message across – and the European blue of the hat base is sure to remind the public at a mere glance which side you are on.
Sometimes multiple badges emphasise the message…
…at other times keeping it simple can be just as effective:
Homemade customisation was very much on show:
And why stop at one hat when two will fit?
This hat fan sticks the message in plain sight.
While this one may deviate from a Brexit blue base, the accusations of “a fantasy unicorn model” have been flung at many on both sides of the debate.
And when a hat couldn’t be found, a wig proved just as eye-catching.
No one could accuse these Remain backers of making veiled references in terms of their support.
