SIR - According to the West Yorkshire Combined Authority it will take five years to plan and build a new bus station to replace the crumbling Bradford Interchange (T&A, November 6).
The existing bus station had a lifespan of 50 years which has now been reached.
Why therefore were the Combined Authority not planning for this eventuality years ago?
Surely very remiss, to put it mildly.
