SIR - Bradford Civic Society is quite right to call for the monument celebrating Sir Titus Salt to be brought back to the city centre from Lister Park (T&A, November 11).
It would complement the heritage buildings that we still have left, and certainly be much more appropriate than the proposed Tower of Now which to me is a total waste of money and little to do with what Bradford has represented over the years.
The Tower should be consigned to the bin before it is ever started.
